I’m David, a film and videomaker with over 8 years’ experience on international award-winning narrative, documentary and commercial work.
My goal is to help brands, businesses and fellow filmmakers like you connect with their audience through engaging, high-quality content for cinema, television and digital platforms.
Be it as cinematographer or editor, my professional background includes Cambodia’s official selection to the 2020 Oscars, the feature film “In the Life of Music” (2018), as well as TV spots and diverse media content for renowned companies and advertising agencies.
I’ve also been a staff at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Warner Bros. Records, as well as a lecturer at Universidad Central de Venezuela, the Cambodia and Busan (FLY) film commissions.
For your convenience, my freelance services are available for hire worldwide, both remotely or in-person, depending on the project.
I come from South America, attended film school in the US and am currently based in Southeast Asia (Cambodia), so yes… global teamwork just comes naturally 😉

Some things you might like to know.
Yes, I am.
My Post-production and Consulting services are available remotely to customers in selected countries. My in-person Shooting solutions (e.g. cinematography) are available globally on a per-project basis.
That’s great to know!
Please, fill out the form below with your name, contact details and brief information about your project. I will get back to you asap.
Currently, I accept payments in US dollar via established and secure 3rd party transfer services: standard bank wire (Swift), TransferWise, Xoom (by PayPal), MoneyGram, Skrill and Payoneer.
I will never handle your payment details (e.g. credit card number).
For most services, the payment schedule is: 50% upon booking and 50% upon delivery.
Please, note that all processing and currency conversion fees shall be covered by the Client.
Part of the reason why you are considering hiring my services is because you can watch my previous work.
Therefore, you understand why I respectfully decline any project that forbids me showing my credits and/or work for personal, non-commercial purposes later on.
I do, however, refrain from showing your work until it has premiered and discourage search engines from pointing to your videos on my sites and, of course, never monetize your work.
If your project has monetization purposes (e.g. a movie or show), I will never post the entire piece, only a small representative sample.
Under no circumstances do I accept work as “ghost” creative.
In my opinion, this would be the equivalent of telling your doctor what instruments and nurses s/he may use during your surgery… results might not necessarily turn out pleasing. Thus, I appreciate your understanding.
But don’t worry, whether you’re going for quality or budget, my choices will always aim at your goal.
